Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Very nice, however I noticed that some of the hero units such as Grievous and his bodyguards, as well as Ventress do not have any shadows. Why is this?
Lot's of options- Grievous could be a soulless creature, a vampire... or it's the dark side of the force doing it's evil.....things with his shadow.

Shadows can't have their own shadows, duh.
It could be because the game has such uber high system requirements that Z disabled shadows. That really reduces lag, especially on a relic like my pc.

no it's called a Star Destroyer because ot is a STARship that is a DESTROYER class vessel
yes, Republic is invincible...that's why they had their -***- handed to them in many of the battles during the Clone Wars :) Im not saying they are weak, but each faction -specifically- designed weapons to both match, and overwhelm the others, so it ended up fairly balanced.

I like republic over CIS, but the CIS was actually WINNING the clone wars until Palpatine had Lord Vader Kill all the leaders, which are needed for droids to run.
Actually to be honest, neither side was actually winning. Palpatine was deciding who was ''winning'' the war. And Palpatine was. The CIS and the Republic were both just his pawns to use to create his Empire. The victories of the Republic and the CIS? He decided them. He secretly gave Republic tatics to the CIS, and at the same time gave the Republic intel on CIS movement. The truth is, neither CIS or Republic were ''winning'' the war.
Trust me they all have shadows its just the angle of the sun there are many pics of grievous and asajj here showing the shadows. Not sure why in this image they are not visible could be the angle they are standing or the sun angle.

Man the CIS army looks really big, as its supposed to be ;)
But Z the AAT was actually blue on some screens which were taken quite a while ago (a very long time ago actually :P ) why theyre brown again. Because as far as i know the AAT belonged to the Trade Federation before the War, and then got part of the CIS army and thus got a blue paint with some CIS symbols on the side....
