Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

I gotta say z you do something magical with these maps, you do something that even the maker of EAW really didn't achieve (except for flaucia or some others) and thats setting the atmosphere of the planet and whats taking place around you, you are an artist and you really should be applauded for your work, hell I'm surprised you havn't been approached by lucas arts for your work :)
The one thing that bums me out about EAW/FOC was the lack of a decent twilight skydome. Either sunrise/or sunset. So, I went and made my own.

lucas arts wwanst strong on there rts games. it was games like republic commando and first person to rpgs that the concentrated on.(Force unleashed was aswome!!! and battlefornt 3 is killer

That company has made ****** games so far..... if they are going to make battlefront 3 they better take awhile to make it because I would like to play a quality battlefront game not some crappy *** one that had a lot of potential thats just too disappointing.

i dont like the quarrens and i have a big red button that blows up there planet but it seems like a shame to use it on such a nice world...

No, there will still be some ugly vanilla maps in RaW to blow up them, because Z doesn't have the time to rework them all until the 10th.
I find it hard still to have to blow up planets. Is the CIS or Republic gonna get something like that? I think the Empire will (once Order 66 is over) obviously, but I dunno about the two main factions.
According to Wookieapedia( Starwars.wikia.com ) the Devastation, sister ship to the malevolence, has a single ion cannon that is powerful enough to destroy worlds.
