Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

You all seem to don't now how badly the clones were outnumbered, it was at least 1000 droids per 1 clone, if not more. The CIS just lost cause Palpatine could always decide which side would win, that's all. If you put one indipendent leader on each side, the Republic has got no chance.
Actually the republic has alot of jedis, who are worth much more then 1000 droids + the droids are so stupid for every clone they kill they shoot 2 of there own....
If not to stick to the "unkillable-almighty-protagonist-jedi" like LucArts do ... Then Jedi's would die quite often... Who needs to kill them with a standart B-1? You have a mercenaries for this, you can use a heavy weapons, you can... you can even space-bomb the jedi temple to break enemies (Republic = enemy)moral... Many ways...
But the republic did have a good fleet/army, and it wasnt just infantry fighting these battles. So its not just Clone Vs Droid. Theres tanks, artillery, gunships, and all the stuff in orbit too
i like how everyone says a jedi can kill 1000 droids yet, a few clones can kill a jedi in order 66 lol....whaaaaatever lucasarts...and its not like you can say "they werent expecting it" because like, ki adu mundi turned around and fought back...and still died from like 5 clones...efffing stupid.
Exactly. The Clone Troopers are FAR superior to droids, therefore the Republic is better ;)

well they obviously wouldn't show the whole fight for the movies... they just wanted to show that the clones killed the jedis and they weren't expecting it
there werent that many jedi...um from one of the movies i think ep.2 mace said there arent enough jedi to defend against an army( or someting like that just watch episode 2)"were keepers of the peace not warriors"
Well there were a lot of ARCs that sabotaged several droid factories to make the droids weaker and more susceptible to failure. These sabotages were the key for bringing up Republic kill rates from 20:1 to 200:1. Clones were just way better than droids because of accuracy, intelligence, skill, and pure awesomeness...
they were better, but far outnumbered as mentioned before..but droids bein droids, and havin electronic and computer brains should be precise and extremely accurate. except somehow it doesnt show at all. and its really hard to say who would havr won without palpatine, because everything would have been different. everything
If the droids would be extremely accurate, then they would also cost a lot more to make and they wouldn't have the massive numerical advantage that they did.

It would be a once off fee for good programming-do it once and install the same into every droid. If palpatine didn't control the war Sadly even with the clones awesomeness the Seps would have definitely won. For example palpatine stopped the manufacture of these b2 droids that were resistant to lightsabers. he told Anakin where the factory for them was.
It was actually the C-B3 cortosis battle droid. Not that it matters :). If no one was pulling the strings and if it were just between clone troopers and the regular b-1 and b-2 battledroid,mainline forces of each army, not any of the specials of the class it would be close but the clones would probably win because due to better accuracy, tactics, and a little bit of innovation and initiative.
