Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

It functions similar to a turbolaser tower. In fact this is the CIS version of that weapon. But this is a mass driver cannon

Exellent! I really like this model :-) but can it only shoot in one direction? Becouse if it can rotate then that clone would be screwed.. or maybe it can only target veichles, as to make it more balanced?

i think i have seen this cannon before, in the III episode of star wars when the two ships are battling agains each other in space.
Yeah, it was shown there. Munificents and providences had these (even the death star used them) they were also shown on the tv show. I'm not sure, but I also think I saw them on the ryloth episode of the tv show when they were shooting at the acclamators.
Yeah, thats where they first appeared. I don't think I've seen them in the clone wars tv series though.

It wasn't on Kamino in TFU 2 what are you smoking, it also was not on Ryloth, and the Death Star thing I don't really know, but the idea of the entire gun moving doesn't seem to realistic considering that it was originally based on the Invisible Hand.
It looks like they shipped a Turbo-laser from one of the Frigates down to the surface..:P
