Advanced Droid Bomber image - Republic at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The CIS's bomber is similar to the Vulture Droid. It can act as a slow fighter or as a bomber. So it will be armed with laser cannons as well as bomb bays.

not really, that was Grievous' personal fighter. Battlefront 2's inclusion of that as a bomber was most likely for gameplay reasons only, given that it doesnt have bomb bays (check Incredible Cross Sections). To be honest, I dont recall ever seeing a dedicated CIS bomber at all so far (referancing the new Clone Wars TV show)...

Good bomber btw, seems like a bomber, but I reckon the 'wings' should be a bit bigger so it doesnt look, overweighted? Just a thought.

nice. im not daying you should, but i have the same question as JET91: will the Hyena bomber be in this mod to go along with all of the content added from the show, or will you overlook that?
They might even rival the NTB630s.
hmmmm maybe the wings more streamlined? its too boxy in the head-on view.
It will not make a difference when you're in the middle of a space battle.
We cant go to high poly on the smaller fighters and bombers as there will be a zillion of them on screen at once. Cant lag peoples PC's too much ;)

That's a good model/skin. But even though the real aspects of the ship are like this model here, and I know several people beat me to this post, but would you mind up-sizing the wings just a bit? Kinda reminds me of an obese guy sitting on a couch eating potato chips.

I think that it should not have so wigth wings, because they are not useful, but make speed slower and bomber can be easily shooted.
