So, pistols get salved into pistol-only spare parts? Armor into armor-only spare parts?
I like it.
Unfortunately no, everything is currently salvaged into one single category called "spare parts". I could have made them different items, but when it came down to realism vs gameplay, I decided gameplay was more important.
So rather than taking long periods of time to do the salvage and repairs you can go through your entire inventory of items in under a minute.
