After Yuri's liberation from the Allied Prison. The Many things Yuri saw that needed some improvements upon was his infantry forces. While the Initiates were very lethal. They lacked anti-air support infantry which made them vulnerable to the Rocketeers,Cosmonauts & Rogue Parasites. To supplement this Yuri's tasked his Scientists with creating an infantry force suited to the task. The greatest hurdle Yuri's Cabalists faced were the heavy weight of the Gatling Cannons and the amount of ammunition these needed. The answer came with the Gatling Cadre. Drafted from the same branches of the Initiates. Gatling Cadre's were individuals who were unable to increase their psychic abilities to levels which would classify them as Acolytes,Cabals or even the esteemed Adepts. Using a powered armor that also enhanced their psychic and physical traits these soldiers would be able to carry the powerful Gatling Cannons. And thus the Gatling Cadre came into fruition into Yuri's Grand Army.
