Don't try to push anyone anywhere, you know that I (I as the only developer) am for Coros and if this won't be fair or unbiased, I'll name them Coros anyway. I don't like seing any "pushing" here. I would seriously like you to edit your comment, this is not a contest, I want to know what people thinks, not to vote them what they think we want, because you said so (while you don't have anything to do with the development).

I already said that if I would take into consideration what does it sound like in every possible language, Nassar would be out of the question just immidiatelly, because in my native (!) language it's almost identical to "don't piss me off". You had to read it, it was in the reply to your comment. So "kill" or "don't piss me off", whatever, it doesn't matter, we wouldn't find anything this way.

Fair... my english dictionary is limited, but I still stick to fair and unbiased (those I said before), because they still do describe what I mean pretty well.
First of all, it's my poll, my thread, my mod, so my rules, if I say no pushing, then no pushing, period. People do have a free will, but I want them to come here with the clear mind and decide for themself without any external influence. To be honest there shouldn't be anything but the poll for that, that's true...

Yeah, that's why I said if it's possible to vote in the lock thread, meaning that I would actually delete everything (together with my introduction) and left only the poll itself, which would make it absolutely fair. But ok, just let's leave it be... Also I'm not saying that Coros is briliant, I could find one or two cons for it (for example sounding more or less oldschool).
But with all this I still disagree with you, you could at least try to understand my point of view about the no-influence environment -I'm not saying that people are zombies, athough I think some of them are, I'm talking about the... how to say it. Like when two people don't remember a certain thing very well, for example something in a movie, and one asks another what was it exactly ...and give him to choose from two options. By that you kill it, because you imprint the newest information over the fading memory. This is not the same case, but I'm talking about looking at the pictures and choosing for yourself based on what you feel is right, instead go into discussion full of other oppinions and noises which can distort his own initial thought (this happens wheter you're zombie or not, human brain is not digital).

And by the way, to understand ourselves better: Nassar is present here because I like it, if I wouldn't I wouldn't I put it here in the first place. I just prefer the other one a little bit more (how couldn't I when it was the initial working title). But since they are both pretty good, I'm giving you people the power to decide.

Wow that is really close. The final name whatever it will be, shouldn't win by few percent, it better clearly differentiate.

Officially no, but unofficially you've got until the next release. Let me explain:
As I said it's already in game as Coros, if I wouldn't update the names according to this poll until the next release, it would stay as Coros possibly for months. And after such long time the change might be hard to accept and get used to. Plus I need the name soon anyway, all the related files are using it. I won't rename the FX files, that would be a suicide, but ship, weapon, subsystems, icon, formation and starting fleet files are those I want to update with the new names.

So we've got days.

I've thrown in my vote for Coros, although....it doesn't quite work for me.

If I'd noticed this thread earlier I would have pushed for something more like "The Affront".
Not that term exactly because it is a straight rip from my favourite author, but something with a similar evocation.

A term that is not what these guys originally call themselves, but what others call them; in fear, and they have then taken for themselves.
