Just like to ask the community a few questions as to how to use the Mod ^^;

Factions: What is this about? how do you use them?

Allies: on the main page it mentioned turanic raiders and another Micro faction :s how would you place them in game? and i dont see why they arent a playable race, Pouk maybe you could fill this one in?

Answer: Buildable from the research ship.

Winning conditions/starting conditions: No matter what Starting condition i choose i seem to start with a Huge fleet that makes my game lag when it Jumps in, anyway to fix it?

this is in skirmish and iv tried changing cap win/lose conditions and iv now found out its when i try to enable factions :S still need a fix for that, anyone know one?

Edit: i have also noticed that the Research ship is completely Red except for the vertical "wings" . is this just me?
Also when i watched the trailer i thought the Green hyperspace jumpers were one of the Allies mentioned, hence why i thought they were a full race not just frigates and such making me think i missed something, my bad.

Factions:
-Ships categorized into subfactions by their weapon families. Vaygr have Kinetic, Missile and Laser factions. Hiigaran have Kinetic, Ion and Hi-tech factions. That's all there is to that. You choose your faction and you can build only ships with the chosen weapon types. This might be interesting in larger MP matches, where the team strategy and player's role is defined by the chosen factions.
Kadeshi don't have any factions yet.

Allies:
Hiigaran and Vaygr can call in a chosen ally race. For now there's one ally race for Vaygr (Turanic raiders) and one very unfinished ally race for Hiigaran (Nassar). Turanic raider carrier is buildable in Vaygr Mothership (in the HS beacons in the next version) and Nassar are directly built in the Research station. But that's also not a final solution. In the future there will be more allies to chose from.

Research ship:
If you'll read the description or the readme file you'll find out that the Research station is a work in progress.

Starting fleets:

So you have a normal Deathmatch, factions turned off, you set the starting fleets to "Default" and you start with a huge fleet? Are you really sure it's not a "Strike Group", "Battle Group" or "Battle Fleet"?

also im positive, its only when i try use a faction do i encounter problems with over spawning.
