Mod Status/Updates
Improved Sides Mod 2.0 (ISM) is in the works, and as many of you had requested it will include it's own Skin Changer! (credit goes to Calrissian97 for his script that makes it possible)
Trying to mantain the highest quality which ISM is known for, which is hard considering the ammount of skins and new models!
I contacted a Garry's Mod developer who made lots of clone skins (who was luckily a massive Battelfront 2 Fan) and he eagerly offered to share some of his work with me, it was basically the rifleman skin and then I had to create the variants for the rest of the classes. His collaboration allowed me to create some of this clone legions in a month (otherwise it would have taken several months to create them):

Calrissian's fix for Phase 1 Legion swaps the Republic Commando for a different clone: (same will be done for Phase 2 using fakeconsole)

The next rezzed map, YAVIN IV is coming along really well and I estimate it will be released sometime during this month. It's still a work in progress, but it's probably going to be the most realistic forest map for Battlefront 2, I'm honestly doing my best to make the most awesome map possible for this engine.

I noticed though the 212th rifleman has too much orange it seems on the helmet (forehead strip & side ear pieces) I.pinimg.com
Also always cool to see clone wars units (wolf pack) in the art style of episode 3 clones, much more realistic.

I don't know who that is, but people were asking for a skin changer version and we did it. As simple as that :)
Nope! This was my own thing.
I'm absolutely going to love this version of Improved Sides. Is there any chance we could see some Clone Trooper skins with a DC-15S Blaster Carbine as their main rifle for that iconic RoTS touch (or have it as an optional choice in Fake Console if possible)?

*Hyena Bomber
*Proton Bombs travelling strait forward instead of dropping
*B1 Battle droids
1: Probably not going to happen
2: Already have it, have you played a Space Battle with Improved SIdes?
3: Not possible for a side mod
4: Probably not possible for our side mod (Super Battle Droids have different anims)

If it's supposed to be a re-master, why did you make those Shadow The Hedgehog OC troopers? Are you trying to pander to the 12 year old crowd that thinks that kind of **** is cool?
I don't if you know it, but the basic content of the game is already "remastered" or in the process of being remastered. 501st legion is and will always be the base.
Those skins are optional, it's for a "skin changer", so people can change their troopers skin to their liking. Have a good day.

why are you raging over optional variants to a dev who has already worked so hard to produce tons of authentic content. you have a stick so far up your *** your feet probably don't touch the ground
In case if you don't know this, Shadow Troopers are based on some Episode III action figures called "Utapau Shadow Troopers". These guys were among those to find General Grievous on Utapau.
How many legions will be in this mod?
I want the first version to include all the ones seen in ROTS.
And those ones are?
So could you switch from phases, like an already phase 2 trooper to phase 1?
Also, are you taking suggestions, because I have some "simple" idea for skins.

I noticed that the triangle under the 212th troopers neck is a little short. Is that possible to fix? Do you also think you'll be able to add the 442nd? They're just 212th troopers but with green markings. Anyways, glad you guys listened to the community :)

Do you also plan to make a sound mod? So the heroes have the voices from the movies?
I've heard they are doing some kind of sound patch but I'm not sure what it's gonna have.
has anyone figured out how to make alternative viewmodel animations?
Will the skin changer allow players to change models as well? There is a skin changer mod that allows the player to choose between phase 1 and phase 2 clone models (each with their own versions of the legion skins) as well as Galactic Marine and Snowtrooper models, and some other models for the Imperials and Rebels.
im hope this skin changer will be release soon as possible before the rise of skywalker come out
