Yes it is. The adoption of this roundel came in Spring 2010. If you look at photographs from post-2010 you will see a significant portion of aircraft use the new roundel.

yeah but the same shape so SMT might be added later by using another texture on this model. The only missing detail is the IRST and the refueling thingy. Probably the landing gear is a little different.

yes, i am not speaking in terms of technical details. I am speaking in terms of unit shape. Technical details can be included in game by changing the code which is something easy for me. I can increase the radar range and add guided weapons for it. Yes the center-line fuel tank is something easy to add too
there are three SMT products 9.17, 9.18 and 9.19. We are not going to model a 9.17 and a 9.19 because they look really different. However a 9.18 can be added because it looks very similar to this however with the technical differences you just mentioned.
Current SMT are 9.19 that are in service. They evolved from the earlier SMT 9.19 prototypes that had a different scheme.
I think there are a lot of Mig29S being upgraded to SMT 9.18. While the new ones being built are 9.19's.
It's an upgrade package for 9.12/9.13's but there are only about 30 SMT in service. Remember that the SMT is a 4.5++ fighter and the Su-27SM3/Su-35S/Mig-29SMT represent interim stop-gap solutions.
yes, in about 10 years the world will be full of fancy stealthy aircrafts (F22 F35 B2, T50 PAKDA, J31 J20) and those 4++ fighters will be sold to third world countries as usual...
