Description

This should be the last of messing with the keys. Mesh smooth is next.

Of course, adding the space around the black keys too.. but already have that setup since render.

Take a look at these notes I took down in notepad when doing the black keys...

'...
Space between white keys where black key rests is about 5/8"

The width of the black key is about 7/16"
Go a little above, not a little below if needed.

The width of the beveled top of the black key is about 3/8"
Once again, go alittle above, not below.. if adjustment needed.

The length of the black key is about 3 9/16"

The length of the top beleved portion is about 3 4/16"
...'

At this rate I can align a photo of the keyboard to the 3D model version without any problem. ;D
Perhaps I'll do that when it is finished.

I found some documentation on the Yamaha DX7, with what looks like half of a print, of a full scan of the body. It definitely isn't a photo from a regular camera.. it is a scan because the perspective is limited, the image looks pretty orthographic.

The problem is that I only have a portion of this image, and its also so so resolution. If I can find the full thing in a better resolution, it would take care of a lot of the texture work. Going to search right now.
