The whole premise of the tie outfit was that they were imperial navy special forces and good in both air and ground combat.

Yeah, I know.

I see the point for when flying a TIE Fighter. But when you're on the ground, fighting in a black leather/fabric suit, that seems more like a liability. Not only is the suit less damage resistant than Stormtrooper armor (plastoid > leather/fabric), you're more susceptible to the elements with an unsealed suit.

But when do youw ant to change armors if you are in the middle of a battle and Inferno Squad just arrived?

Iden Versio probably isn't the best choice for squad leader in this time period. That would make her at least 40ish years old during the BF2 campaign and 70ish in TFA, which seems odd in my opinion.

I probably should have taken that into account, well there's time to revise the final plan I suppose.

Odd how Inferno Squad is being added to a Clone Wars Mod while Inferno Squad wasn't even created until after the clone wars but around the time of Rogue One.

Well, I'm going past the end of Order 66, but I didn't realize Inferno Squad was created around Rogue One. That's a bit of an issue I suppose.

The time frame may be a bit wonky, but hot damn if that katarn armor doesn't look amazing.

Description

Since the trailer release for Battlefront 2017, I was offset by the decision to use a TIE Fighter pilot uniform as a base. I personally thought that Imperial Commando armor would make more sense for a Special Forces squad, so that's what I did. Inferno Squadron in Republic Assault will be a mix of clones, and enlistees lead by Iden Versio but with a more logical choice of armor.
