Looks great.
And I totally agree with you about the Open Circle Fleet. Simply because they have been given the most coverage in the lore, everyone treats Open Circle Fleet ships as the default.

Well in the new canon it's the former OCF symbol is the emblem of the Republic Navy so now it is the default lore-wise.

While I do like TCW, I did find the OCF roundel being the main symbol of the fleet strange.

So did I. I was kind of excited at the outset to see what other fleets existed.

There are still Venators without the OCF Roundel in Revenge of the Sith itself though in the shots of the Battle of Coruscant, so Republic vessels without the Emblem certainly do exist in the "new" canon as well:

That being said, I simply love the ISD/Imperator-class in Republic colors, showing off somewhat that the Republic DID use them before the transition to the Empire (when it was renamed Imperial-class) even if it was only in significantly smaller numbers than Venators and Victory Is.

Just wondering, but will you be adding other unique fleets as well?

It's possible. But from what I know, only the OCF had any kind of visual variation on them. Kind of defeats the purpose of special fleet units, if they all look alike.

You could come up with your own visuals for fleets I guess, that'd be kinda cool :D

If you want an especially good Star Destroyer model with HD textures that is also pretty versatile, I could send you the Star Destroyer model from Star Wars Galaxies without all the little extra details if you would like.

Description

After further reanalysis, I've decided to scrap the DICE ISD model. 70k polys was a bit much, considering many of the polys were located on the bridge. Other factors for this switch include high res bridge and minor detail textures, but a completely shit hull texture.

Anyways, as per the picture, I've now rigged and reskined the Arvis ISD for three variants.

•Imperial style ISD
•Republic style ISD
•Open Fleet style ISD

The first two are pretty self-explanatory, and will take place in their respective eras.

The Open Circle Fleet ISD however, will be a special build. Using the same mechanics of the the Dark Troopers, and Rahm Moc's ARC Hammer. Should The Resolute/Admiral Yularen (May change to Obi-Wan and Anakin, or Yularen and the Negotiator, or all four) be in orbit of a planet, and said planet have the right space station level, then certain Open Circle Fleet variants will be buildable. As of now, only the OCF Venator and ISD are available (Possibly in limited numbers as well), and both have the signature SPHAT cannon.

The reasoning behind this, was to remove the sight of every Venator bearing the Open Circle Fleet roundel. Not every Venator had this, the only ones that did were under Anakin and Obi-Wan's command.

Jeroenimo for the model, and base rig
Arvis for the textures
Sergeant Barlex for the reskin and for importing Jer's ISD rig onto this model
