It looks really good. I love the detailing. Cannot wait to see some guns on it. Curious as to what role it will play - it is obviously not a purpose built corvette as it is designed for freight, #description, so does that mean it has just been upgraded to be a bit more defensive? And if so, what kind of role does that play in the mod as the Republic would typically not send militarily upgraded ships to do battle when they have plenty of warships capable of filling similar roles... Unless this ship has a particular niche, like a boarding capacity, tax boost when in orbit, immunity to corruption, or something. Sorry if I seem overly critical, I just am curious if it fills a particular role that isn't already filled by a better suited unit - I do not see the point in cluttering build-tabs with inferior/unlikely-to-be-used ships (even if they look/are really cool - which this is!).

Constructive Criticism on the render itself: with spaceships, windows are often the key to giving a proper feel of scale. I question the windows on this ship simply because they would seem to indicate a scale on par with a Venator... which is about twice as big (or as small in reference to windows) as the corvette should be since it is built on the same or at least very similar chassis as a Gladiator SD (if not, it would even be smaller and the windows would be an even bigger issue). But seriously, that is like the only thing I noticed that I think may be improved. Great job.

Thanks, i think you missunderstood something the ships i make and the renders i post are not meant to show ships that will appear in the mod rather showing me what ships i make, that will be used in my own mod for another game (they are kind of free released for others to use).

And the reason i post the renders is written in the very first render i made here on this mod: Moddb.com

As for the ship itself, the middle big bulk is a hangar for TIE Fighters to carried with the ship for patrolling and engaging pirates in Empire controlled systems.

And in my opinion you are entirely wrong with the Windows giving a proper scaling feeling, not each window is the same on different ships.

I scale my ships with the different mesh parts i slap on them, in this case the forward docking tubes are the same as on the Intersector, the sensor pads are the same as on the Indictor, my weapons do all have the same size (they are not on the renders).

As for scaling reference take a look here: Moddb.com

Sorry Elratie, I follow so many different mods I forgot that many of the posts here are showcases rather than in-mod elements. I apologize.

Ah, that makes sense, regarding the hangar setup.

Thank you for the scaling reference. And for all the work you do for this community! It is very much appreciated. With this, as with all of your ships, I can only say it is a beauty of a render.

I plan for it to be a cheap, weak anti-fighter ship. It'll easily take down fighters, but can get creamed against even other corvettes.

EDIT: I had forgotten about this, but I might also add a disarmed version to act as a cargo hauler. Similar to RaW's civvy system

The military variant looks so much cooler than the standard one. Glad to see it get made. Sure wish I had 3DS max and could rig your models for EAW but I'll just sit back and hope Sergeant Barlex does it ;)

I see we agree on how it looks then

As always, I plan on rigging it for the Holdouts.

What exactly is this ship-class comparable to?
The IPV System Patrol Ship or the Bayonet-Cruiser perhaps?
How is it in comparison to the Consular-class Republic Frigate (Charger c70 Retrofit)?
