Raising the Bar is a mod based off of the idea of amalgamating the earliest concepts of Half-Life 2 into a coherent story. This mod is not a leak-fix, nor is it a concept art recreation gallery; it will be a full story with inspiration from the old material as well as our own ideas of how to make it all fit together.
A new type of media update that I thought I'd add to help lessen the amount of thought about us being dead or not.
These will be WIP soundscapes for different maps, uploaded over a period of time.

@sam6321- Yes, I do as well, that's why I'm reusing them (along with other classic beta sounds) with enhancements to make them slightly different and new, along with removing the terrible 'hissing' that some of them have.
@Sakores- Pretty sure that children will be included, so don't you worry about that ;)

Sounds pretty good! There's a certain feel to it that I like, I'm not sure what it is. Really makes me want to explore though, I was playing HL2 earlier actually when I noticed how well done the ambient audio is and how many little touches there were hear and there (such as sirens in the distance and the hum of what I'd assumed was the train, I just started another playthrough). Kinda reminds me of Halo 2 in a way, I always thought the ambient audio in New Mombasa was good.
