Raising the Bar is a mod based off of the idea of amalgamating the earliest concepts of Half-Life 2 into a coherent story. This mod is not a leak-fix, nor is it a concept art recreation gallery; it will be a full story with inspiration from the old material as well as our own ideas of how to make it all fit together.

Not a bad idea. It's already looking quite atmospheric though.
The building in the middle looks very good already, maybe add some varieties to the buildings on the left and right of it. The repeating textures make those look kinda bland.
I would assume that this is just a start to the map and it isn't finished. They will most likely add more detail to those when they revise parts. I agree with what you're saying though.
At the moment, we are looking for a lot of quantity. We will be making lots of maps to try to "complete" all of the maps. After we have done this, there will be tons of revising and so on. This also goes with the models and textures.
