I decided to start completely over with this map, been putting alot of work into it lately. Went for a much more roomy, and "warm" atmosphere with the lighting over by the atrium. Stairway over in the corner of the lobby leads to a small security station with an armory. This area is going to be featured in the next video, which should be done pretty soon! :)
That plant could not be there, no sunlight. Everything else is really nice.
Plants in Black Mesa are logic defying, there are many potted plants in Blue Shift. And a few in Opposing Force.
Unless the plant isn't actually there.

Very well done, I really like this area. Much better than the last version. I suppose this is pre-cascade, right? If that's the case, I really like the bright/dark contrast between the pre-cascade and after-cascade Black Mesa in your mod. As for the plant, well, it's Half-Life. It would look weird without some out-of-place plants in the facility ;) .

ah, as soon as you enter this area the effects of the cascade will hit it :) aliens will warp in and take on the small group of soldiers down in the cafeteria.
