I spot one of Valve's infamous flying lights :) ? Nicely done area, I especially like the structure in the middle. A couple of suggestions:

-Since the wall texture has yellow pipes in the middle, I think you must place the blue and brown signs (and arrows) somewhere else (maybe above the doorway,with the arrows pointing downwards?) .
-I think a different metal texture will look better for the structure in the middle :) . Also, one or two cables from an electric box somewhere next to the air ducts leading to the top of the structure will look nice (something like these cables here Wiki.blackmesasource.com ) .
-I believe the world sign thingy (left, behind the structure) looks a bit off. Maybe replace it with a big sign above the yellow pipes with the words 'Communications Center'. Or simply add some electronic panels there to fill the emptiness. Not that it looks empty btw.
-And finally, maybe align the green light between the texture's metal grates?

As always, these are just suggestions. I am full aware that this is still WIP and I am sure the final version will look ever more awesome :) .

heh I love trying to replicate the early teal-green styled lighting in alot of areas :)

ah heres the screenshot I based this area off of, Combineoverwiki.net
alot of areas in the beta have wierd things like that scattered throughout, I'd love to add some of those BMS styled wires coming from the generator though, thank you!

Damn your map looks exactly the same as the beta on, good work! The lighting here is much better than the original though. Well, I didn't know this was made after the beta one, so I guess you could leave everything in place :) . Glad you liked the wires idea though.

Since you are coding now. I can help you disable shadows on only barnicles. It will help out alot! Give me a line on steam when you feel like doing it.

Theres going to be two separate arm packs when RF is released, canon & suitless, the canon pack will have the traditional HEV arms, & the suitless pack will have you running around in nothing but your pre-disaster uniform & labcoat.

Figured I'd start over on this area, the garage area is still being used, just relocated deeper into the labs.

& oh yeah, lots of old irrelevant media has been trashed, if anybody wants them bad enough i think i've got an archive lying around somewhere, i'll update this post with the link later on just in case
