In Rebellion, you play as Mandella, colonel in the Confederation, a powerful military force. At the beginning, you explore the mothership as you're asked by admiral Spade to attend your briefing. You'll discover that you're part of the first attack wave sent to storm Tor29, a little colony lost in the Nephele system. Accompanied by your best friend, major Threepwood, you'll face an oddly weak resistance. Why does the Confederation unleash its wrath on a colony that is clearly of no match ? What hides behind this conflict driven by doubtful justifications ? These obscure reasons are not to please you and Threepwood. Will you carry on following blindly an authority fouled by power and arrogance ? Or will you break your former links and embrace a cause that seems fairer to you, however desperate it may be ? Maybe these are favourable times for... Rebellion.

This is really, really good! AFAIK nobody's even tried to write a character-driven mod before.

Great so far. How do you beat the passageway where the strider is to the left and the hoppers are to the right ?
Voiceing seems to be off, some are very, very hard to hear.
i wasnt able to get it to show up!! I downloaded it into all the right things and then restarted steam but i wont show up anywhere?!!
You opened the .rar file to extract the Rebellion folder into the Steam\steamapps\SourceMods folder, did you ? :-)
Same here, mod simply doesn't appear on "My games" list after installing... I don't know, probably something's wrong with my download.
Once you paste the Rebellion folder into the SourceMods folder, you'll need to restart Steam. And the mod should appear as by magic :-)
It's nice, but sometimes annoyingly hard because it seems to be random whether barney survives or not.
i cant see it in my games thing and i already restarted steam
You install it into
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods
NOT
C:\Program Files\Steam\ (etc.)
i dont have a valve/steam file all i have is just the steam

Simply stunning, I have set eyes upon a great thing (and played it too!).
I can't wait for the next part, I hope you guys stay motivated.
I'll even try to help with the voice acting if it produces the sequel faster!

This is one of the best mods i've ever played! And i played a lot.
It was also 1 of the shortest mods i've ever played. But i'm really looking forward to part 2 of your highly storydriven mod.
In the first map i felt like i'm playing Star Ship Troopers. The textures and details were amazing.
The communication center attack was beautiful and the town fights were fantastic as well.
People play this mod you wont regret it.
-High texture & mapping details.
-fully voiced in good quality.
-fantastic story plot.
-Good use of music and ambient sounds.
