Pulse is a MOD for Half-Life 1. Pulse takes place in Black Mesa after the incident. You are famous scientist Gordon Freeman. In the beginning of Pulse, you are in Surface Lab A Security Complex, a lab and security station on the absolute surface of the Black Mesa Research Facility. You are working with your scientist pals when one scientist working with a hazardous radiation meter detects high radiation amounts coming from all over. They radio into the Administrator's office, the office of Dr. Wallace Breen. Instead of Breen answering, they pick up a remote conversation between Breen and an unknown voice. "It's done," Breen said. "The xenian crystal triggered a dementional rift between Earth and the boarderworld Xen. Now let's get to the surface!" "I'm sure my employers will be pleased," says the unknown voice, and then silence fills the room followed by an explosion. The other scientists are amazed that the Administrator of Black Mesa...

Pulse's development has been put on hold due to some recent events that have come up.

Hello, Pulse fans.

I'm sorry to say that Pulse: Episode One, although near completion, will once again be delayed, but this time a predicted release date is currently unknown. So, Pulse's development has been temporarily put on hold. The reason for this is the fact that I am currently the lead developer of a new content management system called MultiManage. MultiManage requires a lot of hard work and development to complete, and I am currently working very hard with my fellow developers and Staff Team members to complete the first stable release of MultiManage before the end of the year. As it can be concluded, completing a stable release of this content management system will take a lot of time that I don't really have.

The second reason for the hold back of Pulse's development is the fact that I am also working as a sole developer of a new gaming network called General Gaming Planet. General Gaming Planet has existed since January of 2007, but new change is planned for it. With the arrival of GGPv6, the sixth version of General Gaming Planet, I plan on making GGP a giant gaming network where users can submit gaming news, game reviews, game cheats, game screenshots, Easter eggs, and much more. We also will have a large community and forum there for users to gather together and chat. So, as it can be imagined, there is a lot of development to be done in order to complete GGPv6. Since I am the only developer on the development team for GGPv6, it will take up a lot of my time to fully complete it.

So, as you can see, along with developing MultiManage and GGPv6 by myself (not to mention being in top honors classes this schooling year), my schedule is very busy, and I would like to devote my free time to relaxing instead of working on yet another project. So, please understand that, until both GGPv6 and MultiManage have had stable versions released, Pulse will not be developed at all. I expect Pulse's development to commence once again in early 2009. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience, but this is what must be done in order for me to keep a straight head in the midst of all these projects and hard work that I must do for both my website projects and my schooling studies this year.

So, in conclusion, thank you for understanding, and please wait patiently while I work on the other important projects on my schedule. Once I finish them, I will happily continue development of Pulse: Episode One and have it released for you guys as soon as possible. Have a good month, and keep watching Pulse for occasional updates until 2009, when development should really start kicking again!
