I realized that any map desperately needs them.
At first I thought like "Flares? What does flares have to do with a shooter? Like you throw them at enemies or something?" And then I looked at the picture to realize you were talking about lens-flares :P
Heh, I remember in AVP2 there were "flares" that you would throw to light up an area.
