Hi, I know that this mod wasn't updated in the last time. After release of beta version Portal 2 was released, so we played it. Then we tried new stuff in Portal 2 Authoring Tools. Then exams and holiday came so we had a break from mapping. But in last month I and Strnadik talked about future of Deep Chambers. We decided that fixing all those bugs in EP1 will be really hard and long process. So we moved to our step two: Episode Two. We talked about story, we talked about new stuff and now we finally started with work!

We are really sorry for canceling final version of Episode One. Now we want to work on our second episode, so we hope that it will be much better (less bugs, more chambers, new stuff).

The First test chamber is wierd. there should be Acid instead of water becase if you fall in, theres no way out, you are forced to restart the game and it get really frustrating when you cant keep your balance like me.
There is Acid, but I am just so stupid and I didn't fix trigger_hurt in them ;)
I have the portalgun model from Project Beta and Blue Portals, and I want to use it in Deep Chambers (with the Deep Chambers texture, of course). Will the texture fit properly on the model? And what makes the Deep Chambers model different? (I don't have modeling software, so I can't take a peak without launching the mod, but even then any minor differences will be hard to notice).

This is the Creative Futures Portal Gateway Launcher. This is completely new, never-before-seen technology. Any notes on it's similarity with the A******* S****** Handheld Portal Device will lead to immediate death. Merely mention the words A******* S****** (Aperture Scien- NO! DON'T KILL ME! I DON'T WANT TO D- AAAAGHH!) without censoring them will result in death as well.
:D Yeah, now I can see you all know what relation we have to Aperture Scien.... Oh, I almost typed it! But it is our company (well, Creative Futures was founded by James Hilleard) so hopefully I won't die.
Awesome mod for the momment, but the first bug you should fix would be that you can skip the portal gun and get stuck in the bts area of the next chamber :-/
Bugs I found: fling room Map01 - couldn't make fling to platform, damped out when went down after placing portal on angle surface.
Checkerboard under stair map 03 w brown texture walls and in rathole before stairs.
Fell into water and crashed game.
Modernmap2: fling to top of glass cabinet - couldn't make it after pushing button on ceiling and placing portal on angle surface
Modernmap2: Transport chamber did not work had to noclip to doors for cubedetector chamber.
rest worked OK.
In modernmap2 in that room where you must press the button on the ceiling, try to fall more times (infinite fall). If you fall just once, you don't have enough speed. And also if you place one portal on the wall with observation room (it must be close to that glass room and very high) and second portal on the wall and you jump through the second teleport, you can land on that glass room :D
And in transport room try to press E on your keyboard, there is a button which starts the transport room.
nice beta. i found 1 bug:
one: the cude detecter chamber last part and the bonus map with the glass not breaking. btw, awsome mod. 9/10
