Before 2.0 this mod was amazing as it was. But now, with 2.0, you've taken the game into a more professional look and feel. And i LOVE it! I thank you guys for a great game, I can't imagine what the drive for you guys is, I mean you don't even get any money for it? Not from us gamers at least. Not that there is anything wrong with that! :P
Nontheless, give yourselves a pat on the back. The result of a whole years work (a bit more?) is a peice of fantastic and original gaming experience!

Its been awhile since i've had this much fun with a mod.
All i've gotta say is

I love it and I hate it. Here are my suggestions that will probably be ignored and more likely be made fun for "LOL U SUX AT GAME"
* Safe spawning. In booty tag you often spawn in the middle of a large group of enemies.
* Remove the turkies! Any healing system would be beter than the turkies - for example, health regeneration when you're not in combat.
* Skirmisher needs more drawbacks. Fastest class, has a ranged attack, has an area effect attack, has an extremely powerful special, and does well in close combat. Even removing the pistol would be a welcome change.
* Hit damage is inconsistant and confusing.
Well those are core parts of PVK (the original and PVK2), you can't just delete those from the mod. I guess you are new to PVK? ;)

He's probably talking about the skirmisher and such.
Anyway, the game is incredibly balanced given how different the classes are. You'd think the pirates would rape everyone since they have guns, but I find they lose more often than not.
And I don't see how hit damage can be confusing when there's a power bar and it tells you how well of a hit you scored every time you hit someone. Oh, and it essentially tells you the opponents health, heh.
Everyone is still trying all the new things, play some more; the mod is pretty balanced.

Do i need the dedicated server package to play it?
This is so incredible. This must be one of my all time favorite mods. It ranks alongside greats like The Specialists for me. With Beta 2 you stepped it up a notch and smoothed it out, but the visceral melee experience remains only with fewer flaws.
There's something about a 1 on 1 on 1 duel in arena that is simply fantastic.
I love this game and now that I've got all of my friends addicted to it, We'll have massive PVKII LAN Action!
