Perfected Doom 3 was started as a simple tweak mod years ago. After realizing that I was still not happy with Doom 3 after making some alterations to weapons and enemy stats I continued to add more to the game. Now Perfected Doom 3 is more then just a tweak mod. It attempts to completely overhaul the entire game with new monsters, rebalanced weapons, rebalanced monster stats, better graphics, new gameplay features and much more. It has been met with great appreciation and acclaim by it's users. This mod will bring many improvements to standard Doom 3 and it's Resurrection of Evil expansion.
What do you guys think about this? I really like it and it adds some tension when u actually fight him. That red light on you usually means death unless you got cat like reflexes. I'm considering adding a green one to the Sabaoth's body. Most likely not on his head though.
At first I wasn't too keen on it but then I imagined it animated as it would move around like search lights and shake everytime the large intimidating demon stomps.
Now I think it's a great idea! If you use this Cyberdemon for more scenarios other than Doom 3's final showdown I can imagine it bringing back the terrifying feeling of the original Doom version. Big stomps, the red light searching for you, the large powerful creature on the hunt as you try hide behind a pillar. That would be awesome.
I'm glad u like it. Imagining it ingame is the best way to get into this. It really looks amazing during a battle. It adds a lot to the experience.

Exactly. It freaks me out. Kind of like when u fight the guardian but this time the spotlight is attached to a huge demon with a rocket launcher attached to his arm.
