Summary:
Pathways Redux describes the events of a major nine-day crisis in 1994.

In the twilight hours of May 7, 1994, eight Special Forces operatives were paradropped into the Yucatan Peninsula. Seven safely landed and carried the nuclear bomb into the pyramid. Hours later, they ran out of bullets.

This project is based upon "Pathways Into Darkness" created by Bungie Studios. It is my hope that Pathways Redux sparks further interest in the original Bungie Studios effort. Pathways Redux is not endorsed by or affiliated with Bungie Studios in any capacity whatsoever.

* * *

As of November 1996, the locations in Washington, D.C. and the Yucatan Peninsula described in this project have been declared safe by the Center for Disease Control and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. None of the areas described are infective or dangerous.

Pathways Redux is finished and has been released.

Quote:Pathways Into Darkness was released by Bungie Software in August 1993. It was billed as "a new adventure game for the Macintosh". However unlike other 'adventure' games in the genre Pathways was also a 'first-person-perspective shooter'. Pathways attempted to bridged a gap between 'puzzle solving' and 'kill or be killed' game play. Now relive the experience in the new Doom 3 single player mod "Pathways Redux".

Ahhhh why do some Windows ppl get soooo scared of the Mac and feel the need to (try) and knock it? Shameful, but understandable why you would feel so threatened.. Anyhow, this mod has worked on the Mac for a long time now. As I got the source from the Brendon (thanks!) and it's available here ->

oh BTW mac is the worst computer in the universe it has a F***ing cult named after it if thats not creepy i dont know what is?? also the buttons on windows XP are better than that of a mac because i confuse the close button with the minimize button.... i think the only reason you like a mac is because the new ones have cool little 3D games built in so you can fool around when the boss is not looking..

this is a very impressive mod, really enjoyed it.
The scripting is done fine and i looove the talking with the dead feature, gives the player a good opportunity to get deeper into the story.

Actually, DOOM3 was first developed on the Mac because it was better than Windows for the task at hand, but DOOM3 was released on Windows first.

Oh and I don't think Micro$oft Windows is any better either. It just has one big advantage over Mac, popularity.

And about the mod, its awesome. I think it was more spooky than DOOM3 itself. It had cool little details that just make this mod great, from the opening sequence right down to the letter.

Who cares if it doesn't work on a Mac?!

Do you even know what Mac stands for? It's

Malicious
Anal
Chafe

How can doom3 even run properly on a Mac? you must have it on low, most likely with bumping-mapping turned off (maybe even specula)

Basicaly Macs are the worst computer in existance and could not run Doom3.
