Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

very nice multibeam frigate indeed. Seeing as they look like gimble turrets that frigate looks like it could be VERY nasty in a wolfpack. Out of curiosity (and seeing as you have done this with other kadeshi ships) are we going to see a V2 of the templar or are you contempt with this veryfine destroyer chassis? =)

Well, it's up to a cruiser chassis now (waaaay to large for a destroyer as Pouk has pointed out). There will be a new destroyer chassis... and no, not really satisfied yet ;)

The Templar and Needleship will get a V2 (which will mostly include better goblins, possibly better textures) and in the case of the templar, more forward guns (smaller ones) to fit it's role as a cruiser.

They are turrets on the MBF and they have a fairly good coverage aiming forward. Deal a load of damage too. Armor and maneuverability... only average though.

fair enough as far as balance is concerned for the MBF, and awesome to hear that the already awesome looking needleship and templars will be recieving remakes O_O I can hardly wait, your rendition of the kadeshi is taking huge leaps with evert new ship you roll out =D

I have my MBF's now... prepare to die. I'd like to get a closer look at those turrets in a 3/4 view, like the second and third picture from the top on the right. Could you post that in your forums or something please? A couple of nice updates to the Templar too (you still call it that for your mod right?)

Yep i do @ templar. Can't get a better name and decided not to 'steal' pouk's naming. Hmm about the MBF, I think I know what you mean. I'll get some pics together, possibly even a vid of it in action.

Templar will be posted as soon as all the little goblies are done and the turrets are added. Will be this weekend or next week I guess, depending on priorities.

Description

Fear all and behold, for those who once once tended the gardens will now bring Vengence upon those who pretend they are great, who think they are better. For they are nothing, not before the Great Maker Sajuuk.

Make them suffer! Make them pay! Though we are small, mortals only in a great universe, we are many. And the many shall show the few that they are not strong. That they are not better. They are nothing! For the true Hiigara!

*transmission fades*

So what we have here is a Kadeshi propaganda message, picked up by our deep space probes near the Tanis Sector. It appears they have introduced new heavy weapons into their fleets, most notably an evolved Multi Beam Frigate and an upgraded Templar main cannon.

It would be prudent to avoid engaging the Kadeshi crusade fleets head on unless you are prepared to take some losses. Remember that the next time you give your orders, commander.

To underestimate these lunie culties would be a sad mistake and a tragic mistake for any warlord... questions, gentlemen?
