Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

Description

When it comes to combat, the Vaygr are truly the most adept of all the Races. They are a warrior breed and live only to fight (sidenote: you'll be seeing a lot more of this mentality in future when it comes to the vaygr).

One vital tool to the Vaygr's Invasion Fleet is corvettes. Unlike Many other races, Vaygr Invasion corvettes are a primarily offensive force. They provide no support, no additional abilities save for those of the command corvette.

The Assault Corvette is a deadly evolution of the Lance Fighter and Interceptor, offering incredible forward firepower against strike craft and other corvettes, ranking it amongs the deadliest ships of its class.

The Laser Corvette - a larger Brother to the Assault Bomber - is designed specificially to counter enemy frigates. Given the Vaygr's lack of anti-frigate weaponry, it would do well to remember this. A few squadrons of Laser Corvettes can spell doom to enemy frigate formations in a matter of minutes (read: seconds).
