No, it wasn't really a joke. I was experimenting and thought it looked kinda cool and different from the rest of the vaygr ships.
But with everyone complaining I figured I should flip it back again.

Maybe you could super-size this model and graft on a super gatling gun made from millions of battlecruisers, able to blast relentlessly while doing no damage whatsoever except to the enemy's pride in their mothership's fame for never being shot at crushed.
