I had a look at this. A few tries were needed to get the download. This actually is a painkeep setup. Perhaps for the Weenieville server. Also of note: v2.2 is not included. I couldn't get DarkPlaces to work with PainKeep. If you have it working, then please share. I re posted the download link up above and also included the instructions. The idea behind creating this was to provide a simple way to redistribute the game. I'm not trying to take any credit for the original creator's content or call this game my own in any way shape or form. I just unzipped that and: dp -listen -game Painkeep dp is my link to darkplaces-glx, on linux. On win it would just be darkplaces. Standard pk source will fail with singleplayer on many maps - you have to set deathmatch or use -listen. I just wanted to make sure there was nothing unwanted - you could hide anything in 1.2Gb. Once I get around to the pk part of this project, I'll have to stop by the server. The original reason I make the 1.2 update was visible weapons, better menu admin, and the basis for adding better bots. And thus began the qc++ project with fteqcc, #ifdef precompiler sections, and lots of darkplaces extensions to make easier mods and more portable code: Moddb.com Moddb.com |
