One of the suggestions from an observer was to add some cool weapons to the mod.

Very close at this point to supporting literally *any* arbitrary weapon of any kind with the mod. Even the chaos mod alpha code cant make this claim with any success.

Granted the first thing I'll finish is wolf/doom/q2/q3 support. But I feel it would be a nod towards painkeep to add some odd ball stuff like the beartrap and such.

Game balance will be maintained mostly by limiting carried weapons to the slots of the original q1 set - axe, shot guns, nailguns, rockets shooters, lightning devices. Once you have a cell power wep or two, you can't get another.

It is likely that I will borrow the chaos mods ability to throw out a wep to get a different one if you choose.

With guns finished I'll prob. work on morph server next, or maybe do some more bots. I'd kind of like to add in the cujo server capacity (with a few more creatures) since both quake and wolf had dogs. (And doom sort of too - had pinky!)

I love the new Guns, though something like BFG is missing. like in Doom and Quake. that would be wicked cool. something that blows off half the map . . . some sort of Bloody NUKE

Funny you should mention nuke - I made a design spec. for a "code" activated nuke device.
You have to find a thing like they had in goldeneye - a plastic case that breaks open to reveal a code.
You then find the nuke and arm it with the code. When it blows, everyone dies. Violently.
I need a good nuke model. I'll have to watch broken arrow again.

And the shovel...I want the shovel bad.
