This is 'skin' for Major crisis that changes the look of the imps for something akin to doom3's aesthetics.
With their thin wirey frame, darkened skin and multiple eyes, these Imps are much more nightmarish than the standard variety...
Based on spritework by the ever-talented eriance/amuscaria, with a suggestion of the concept by the equally talented Craneo and the sounds from playstation/doom64's imps (I chose these for the added creepyness-factor) and jobs a good-un!
So, yeah, function and gameplay elements remain +/- unchanged, I mean they're still imps, but they do use a completely new set of sprites, sounds and code, meaning they are more than just a striaght sprite-swap on this occasion.
at present they lack a lot of the extra deaths and other anims that the classic imps in Major Crisis do, but perhaps they will be added to over time?
feel free to have a go at adding more!
Ok, I just updated this to include some new anims:
bisect/alternate jib (throws torso)
decap/headshot
bloodless death for melee/plasma
still need some good old regular altdeaths but thats proving tricky at present...
