We are SO close to our first public beta!

We are in an awful situation where our Lead Programmer, Jack has succumbed to PC hardware issues (over heating / lack of cooling).  He is out of commission until next Tuesday (if all goes well) and has been unable to code for the last week.

We need an experienced Source SDK programmer that can help us complete our last list of changes in order to achieve release.  It is all small stuff... nothing to add to the game (feature wise).  It includes some vgui stuff, some weapon variables, and other stuff of that nature.

If you are able to help please contact me directly at any of the following (email is preferred):

Yeah we are hoping to get our developer patch 3.0 released by this Saturday and test it all day Sunday. It'll pretty much be ready once Patch 3.0 is complete. However, we'll probably hold it back a day or two and do some last minute arrangements and what not.

We're getting VERY close.

Absolutely.

What we are releasing is the 'core foundation' of the game.

Over the next couple of months we'll be replacing everything, new particles, new sounds, more models, more animations, more features, more maps, more everything. This will all happen sporadically through content updates and patches. You can expect what we will call the 'final' copy of Orion (multiplayer aspect) finished in Fall 2010.

A lot of people can talk, few can perform.

Go make your own game then.
