Another M4, this time with a heavy barrel, mako foregrip, ssr25 stock and spr handguard. Cmore optics and peq-15 laser dot finish this one off.

Looks very impressive. But should not be RAIL required for grips and similar stuff?
all depends on multiple factors
1: the grip and weather or not said grip was even designed for a rail interface system
2: the type of fore grip installed and the location of its mounting / hard points
and 3: even tho RIS is currently the most popular system in the West it is by far not the only method as the Russian AK series of rifles use a side rail / track like thing that allows optics to be quickly attached and detached with ease in the field
The Dragunov SVDs PSO-1 optic is mounted like this and it also allows the manufacture to ship said rifles with optics pre zeroed at the factory
"dialed in for accuracy to the gun its shipped with"
Which allows a soldier to quickly remove or attach that optic with out having to worry about weather or not the accuracy "zeroing" has been thrown off.
