Is that a g41 rifle with scope as in Operation Eisenfaust Origins or it is a kar98k as I can see a bent bolt there on the rifle? Also,it is nice to see more nazi soldiers carrying rifle instead of the common pistol or mp40..
Thanks :)
When we started this, we specifically wanted to have original Wolf3D guards in this (to connect better with classic Opetation Eisenfaust mission...) but brown guards look too lame with just a luger. So...had to change him to rifle, to look cooler, more realistic and a bit more intimidating.
Yeah, I agree with you. The brown guards look better with a rifle rather than a pistol. Pistol should be common with officer right? I like your direction towards realistic immersion. Its a rare thing in wolf3d mods. (I dunno though. This is just my personal observation on tons of wolf3d mods out there. I might miss some info somewhere)
Yes, I agree....luger is more fit for officers...and so we kept officers with luger in this one. Only brown guard was altered weapon-wise.
Yes...realistic immersion is my style...I guess :)
I like the fact we have the same taste.
I think it would be fun if in the early levels most of the enemy soldiers are equipped with kar98k and luger while the player only limited to the same weapons as them. Surely it would be hectic shooting multiple enemies with kar98k that requires operating the bolt after each shot. I love playing medal of honor series and both call of duty 1 & 2 with kar98k rifle without scope. Feel like a pro to kill every enemy in a mission using only the kar98k. Oh, I love those times when ww2 games were the theme of the day.

It's kar98k, not g41.

I agree with the above :)
The original Wolfenstein 3D pistol was stated to resemble a Walther P38,not a Luger.
