It'd be cool if ModDB had a place where people could post work like and it be seen as well as mods do! I guess kinda like Deviant Art, but more specific to modding, gaming etc

Atleast that way, every time you post something on the ORAW page a little bit of my soul won't die when I realize that this mod remains dead :P ;)

It took me at least 200 hours in Painter to get a result like that!

It helps that I have you to ask questions to, otherwise I wouldn't even have gotten started with this :D

Description

Inspired by Doci and his incredible art works, I decided that I too, wanted to gid gud and so I started on the not-so-very-short journey of wading through the thick swamp lands that is Substance painter. Over the past days I have made progress however, and am now ready to show the culmination of 4 days of trying to master the interface and actually get something done within the program.

So yeah, that's a lot of time spent on texturing a head and some pieces of side armor. Those side armor pieces were a nightmare, I had to repaint it 3 times because I screwed up various things, and after that I had to paint over the existing lines another time because I had the brush thickness and height set up incorrectly. All part of the learning process I suppose. Still. Annoying.

Once I have the process down of how to actually use this program, things will go much faster I hope.
