first thing is to decide what biome it is volcanic or desert by the looks of it, separate the buildings from the landing area by a winding path,( valley of the Dark Lords?) add a few native units 1-3 spawns at max, make the attacker have many options when attacking, like different routes. Then after the base is finished spurce it up by adding nature like texture, and props - thats just my 10 cents.
I'm going to assume you planned to do this but I'll say it anyways. Make the playable area more dynamic because right now it's pretty damn flat. Also from there add in some texture variation. Also smooth out some of the ridges on those hills, they're looking a tad to jagged to look natural. A pretty good job on the lighting though, it's just sad that there isn't really a skydome in FOC that would compliment it.
I really was hoping for a good skydome, sadly as you said, there wasn't one that would apply to this. And the playing area is ofcourse going to be more interesting.
This is my first land map, so I really want advice. More props and such will come.
