ehh ok ill go for it so far. It looks so close to the palpatine empire ships though...But i do like it better than a reused strident star defender so hell 8/10!

Heh, nice that you brought it up.

The only difference between HI and HII is this: I closed the front, I moved the superstructure forward and then selected the back and pulled it back (yes that is litterally all that the superstructure is, harrower I parts but moddifed slightly) and I have it the 12 long ranged turrets. That is litterally all the change, you'd be surprised how similar they actually are, pretty much everything except the turrets can be found on the original harrower, and as the description said it bridges the gap between the HI and the ISD.

Harrower-II engaging... Good work on this model. What was the Sadow-class supposed to look like? I really can't remember the model...

It was warbs model for the Strident star defender, though it was fanon so it could be anything.

Ah alright, thanks! This is definitely the better solution. It reminds me a little bit of this Imperial Escort Cruiser someone made: Jbjhjm.deviantart.com

I happen to have also made a model of that, though that was years ago: Moddb.com

A little bit off-topic, sorry, but: Does this model has a canon source or is it purely fanon (Imperial Escort Cruiser)?

Nice model, both the Imperial Escort Cruiser and of course the Harrower!

Not that I know of, the Harrower II is purely fanon though.

Very nice, although without a close range slugger
what is the Sith's primary anti-capital type craft?(Besides the downgraded Harrower I) or will this hybrid be able to effectively act as arty and a close in brawler?

Both the Harrower and Harrower II do extra damage vs capital ships, but they only have laser weaponary, the Terminus has ion cannons and missiles and while not doing extra damage to capitals (to corvettes instead) it can help with the shields (ion cannons) and the shielded shield generator (missiles)

Ofcourse bombers help too.

Description

The second warship in the new Star Destroyer line of battleships. The Harrower II is the result of many tweakings to the Harrower I design. While remaining basically the same ship, the larger superstructure now allows this ship to serve as a command and control vessel. It also lost the front hanger in exchange for a more stable overall hull structure. (that doesn't mean jack for gameplay but I'll place some internal weapons there) It also sacrifices its heavy 17 light turbolasers and 28 heavy laser cannons for 4 light turbolasers, 16 heavy laser cannons and 12 long range turbolasers (same as light turbolasers just 1.8 times the range) this means the ship is less effective at close range, even less effective than the original Harrower I, But the ship can sit behind the frontline and shoot away at the enemy without the fear of being hit at all.

So to cut the bullshit, this ship replaces the Sadow class battleship because this looks a lot more sith empire-ish. And it also bridges the gap between the Harrower and the imperial Star Destroyer, which would be developed in the clone wars and seen extensive use in the galactic civil war that follows. I got the idea for a Star Destroyer/Harrower hybrid here: Google.nl

Basically it's the same ship as the Sadow, just a different model, I thought this'd fit a lot better than the Sadow design. Weak at short range, with the unique role of long range battleship. It remains Tier 5.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it,
-G
