Eventually I'm going to moddify all the textures in such a way you will not see team colours on ships anymore, so it's not a problem.

I really dislike team colours myself, because they break the emergion for me, and I never use them unless I look at the minimap.

if that's the case, how will you be able to tell your own ships when fighting the same faction other than the attack cursor that appears when you hover it over one?

You're doing some really great work here! Before I was worried would the Interdictor have enough firepower (it's my favourite ship), but now, when I ewad the Description i can say I'll LOVE it.

As for your "turret idea"- if you're going to make them "move" then, it's a really great idea.

Ofcourse, all of the turrets move, I'm not making some half-assed mod which displayes turrets that don't move :D Glad you like the idea btw, I think I'm going to add some to most ships, just because they give that little extra touch of eye candy in a battle.

Description

Added 8 *more* turrets to the Interdictor class, heavy laser cannons. Removed 4 from the front of the ship and relocated the missle launchers to that location. The 6 light turbolaser turrets have been set up so that they cannot fire at anything the ship is facing directly, so it needed some firepower in the front. The 8 heavy lasers can hit in the front. Its broadside is really powerfull, but heavy lasers only have 2/3 the range of Light/heavy turbolasers, as the Interdictor is packed full with heavy lasers and only 6 light turbolasers, it's a close combat vessel, though extremely powerful when in full broadside.

I want to experiment with adding small turrets here and there on several ships, drop a comment if you feel like expressing your opinion on the turret thing, open for ideas on this one.
