The guitar and the perfected pistol quest Thread - Old Good STALKER Evolution mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Hello all

I'm having a blast with this mod so far, but i'm stuck on 2 quests :

1 The sidorovich guitar's quest. I have search everywhere so far, but no luck. Even the mighty internet is not helpful (i was told to look at the chinmeys, the roof, some bushes... but no luck) I really need your help on this one

2 The perfected pistol : i'm supposed to acquire a weapon for Sidorovich (a special pistol). The military leader who ask for money is supopsed to have it, but i have no way to propose him a trade or a barter. Unless i'm suppose to kill him? (but i have a crappy weapon/armor, seems hard for me ^^) i don't see how i can obtain this weapon. In fact, i'm not even sure the guy have it :x

1. This quest was changed. Sid tell you to ask the rookies about the guitar. So you need to talk with any rookie in the village. After that you will know that guitar was used by the drunken stalker. You must find him and ask about guitar. He will hint you where to look for the guitar. And the guitar is spawning only after that.

2. This job assumes the neccesity to kill the owner of a pistol. If you don't want to kill military leader, don't take this job.

For the guitar, i have already talk to the drunk stalker He gives me a riddle, about "sitting on a tub" or something like that. Despite that, no luck finding the damn instrument ^^ If you have some specific place(s) for me to search, i would be in your debt (if not, well, i guess the Zone will win this one... for now :p)

For the pistol, then i wont try the mission (unless i manage to lure some miutants near the military), my weapons/armor are not good for the job.

For the guitar... "sitting on a tub" ... try looking in toilet inside houses. Be sure to go inside the toilet rooms since looking just from the entrance/door may hide the guitar from view.

Just found it, it was on the roof of the batiment with the 2 brothers. Pretty hard to climb i must say

And crazy thing right before that : it was night, so i decided to sleep a bit, hoping for the morning to shine a new light on me But the zone seems to think differently. To my surprise, some sort of psychic emission occurs during the night, and turns our little camp into chaos. For some reason, the military decided to join the party, adding a little more to the chaos Everyone was running, shooting and yelling.

So far, 75% of the stalkers were killed. Guess it's time for me to leave this "cursed" camp.

Hmm. That's a different area. Mine was also "sitting on a tub" , and I found the guitar at a toilet room, at a bathtub.

Well, such is life in the Zone. What I did was whenever I get spare good weapons, I trade it with the NPCs there, so that they could at least have a chance to deal with those pesky military guys.

I found the guitar behind the cooking stove in the house with the old man who asks you to look for his niece.

As for the gun... well, you'll have to take it from Major Kuznetsov's cold dead hands.

No, in the patch 2.10 Revised you can get the unique pistol from Major Kuznetsov peacefully. Be attentive. Just wait for the moment when they are not shooting at somebody.
