Suicide Zombie hand quest Yantar crash Thread - Old Good STALKER Evolution mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Game crashes every time when i try to receive the special sniper rifle from Sakharov, given as a reward for a suicide zombie hand.

Patch 2.09 eng.

Since modified SVU is in OGSE (and so I can't reproduce crash on clean installation), I believe your crash is related to custom weapon pack which you're using. Check your gamedata/weapons folder.

Yes, thats my fault, sorry for wasting your time. But this is not due to a weapon mod pack, but because before one month i tried sprinting animation for the SVU (OGSE SVU does not have a sprinting animation, and i took the file from another mod) and then uploaded it for a guy here who asked for SVU sprinting animation for OGSE. I tested it in the gamedata. The animation worked for the regular SVU, but i had no idea about the special SVU. So after that, i kept the svu file in the gamedata folder and forgot about it.

Here it is. The sprinting animation works with the regular SVU.

I think setting anim_idle_sprint = idle in the w_svu.ltx (this is changed to enable the sprinting animation) to anim_idle_sprint = idle_sprint causes a crash with the unique SVU. Maybe it will work if you add the new animation path for the unique SVU as well?

Yes, that was the case. Fixed, will be in next patch with new SVU sprint animation.
