How do I install OGSE? Thread - Old Good STALKER Evolution mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

I'm really sorry to ask this but I've been looking for a while and not found an answer. How do I actually go about installing OGSE?

I have STALKER on steam, which reading in other places tells me that everything's more difficult. I have tried installing the 1.0005 patch using instructions on GOG.com, but that didn't work for me.

I feel bad putting this out there but can someone point me to some instructions?

[EDIT] I have followed These instructions: Youtube.com, to let me install the 1.0005 patch. After installing the patch when I boot the game up it still says 1.0006 in the bottom left corner, is that an issue? Then when I install OGSE and run the configurator, error messages pop up saying that is cannot find the location of anything. I thought it was supposed to *make* those folders.

Have you found out how? I'd like to play it myself, but I can't seem to find anything on what I'm supposed to do...

Oh, I finally found out how to do it.

For the newest version of OGSE you don't need to roll back you game version for #1. (It's working just fine for me without doing it anways)

#2, go to the Files page of THIS MOD (not the whole site)
There, you need to download parts 1-6 and the 2.10R and the 2.10R Hotfix.

Put all 8 items in ONE FOLDER

Run the Part 1 file, with is a .exe (executalbe program)

Then, after it finishes, run the 2.10R EXE and then extract the files from the Hotfix .rar into the folder of the same name in the game directory (There are two folders and it was confusing at first, but the one labled NEW is NOT the main one, put it in the right folder and disregard the NEW one)

Run OGSE with the newly installed OGSE exe, NOT through Stalker SOC.

The game is installed separatly and is stand alone
