Off Limits is a first person multiplayer shooter that is focused on two teams capturing the enemy territory and hunting down and killing their main guy, the Juggernaut.
I've tested the map and done a lot of optimization to get the frames down to a decent amount (fog/clustering/minimal use of materials). It's been tested on lower systems and they too get 60fps+. If you can run CSS at max. detail you should be able to run this as well (maybe not maximum, but high enough). I test the level with everything maxed out + motion blur at 1920*1200 and I get on my machine 80fps+ in all areas, with 80 being the lowest.
I added choppers in Russia flying over, and I was planning to do just what you mentioned with this map, but I don't think I'll add them because of time restrictions. I want this done and out this year. Also I don't think you'll see them flying over anyway because of the fog :)
I might still however just have a sound flying over to illustrate a plane taking off nearby and flying over.
All you ******* idiots asking for this to be singleplayer are just that: ******* idiots. Scripting sequences to make the story (cut-scenes or in-game sequences) could take as long or longer than it's taken for them to get this far. Have any of you nerds tried scripting even a simple sequence for even a simple engine like Goldsrc? It's time consuming, and then you have to make animations for the models in the scripted sequences and well, in short, it's way ******* hard to do a SP game.
Very nice!
amazing!
i sometimes forget that this is on source enigne..
good job mapping guys!
Why?
And also, darn that is good!
Source engine? What are you talking about, that's not source that's... O_O
THis is amazing!
I like, i like, i like, i love, I love, I Love, I LOOOOVE !!! :D
I really love the fog.
I really gonna love the low fps I will get from this part of the map. :D
(Man, I really need a PC with more "muscle")

Amazing, great to see the 'duvel' sign hasn't been changed! :D
O_O
Awesome, since this city appears to be set sometime in the future so maybe you could add some planes that fly over head every 4 or 5 minutes.

multiplayer ... common ..
Is it really so hard to make up some cool story ?
Yes thats really hard, why do you think most mods are MP?
Hmm that Duvel add made me thirsty:p
Nice work Wesley!!

Does this require Half Life 2 or any Source game?
Apparently when you have Half-LifeĀ² it allows you to run Orange Box mods, so all you need is Half-LifeĀ².
You just need to download Source SDK base 2007
