Normandy '44: European Theater combines a higher level of realism with a more elaborate doctrine system, which incorporates almost 50 different military units that took part in the period of Jun-Sept 1944. This spectrum ranges from divisions of free Polish and French units serving under the main allied armies to volunteers from the Eastern Front that served in the German Wehrmacht. This is only a small portion of the doctrine variety however, as we feature numerous well known units of all factions as well. The mod also features numerous new abilities and custom made units each with a completely revamped size and structure. Between custom made units and structures with historically correct skins, Normandy '44 offers over 150 NEW UNITS, making for an almost endless variety of different scenarios and unit actions. Combined these factors provide for an experience unlike any other mod for CoH!
Here is the Soviet ISU-122

holy mother of god :O
nice , the ef team tho put an "SU-152" in their mod, and naming it ISU , i saw right away that it was SU because u can see the difference on the frontal "tower" thingy or w/e :P
just look at the design the su was amde on the kv chassis sadly i dont know on what chassis was the isu made but i think it was the kv 3 chassis
really? i thought its from IS 2
The weak frontal cannon really defines this tank :P
As for the SU/ISU thing, they are extremely similar, but as best I can tell it looks like the ISU to me :)
Plus if you look at the top of the turret and the overhangs on the armor on top of the treads.
But again - VERY similar
why add a ISU-122? Isn't this "Normandy 1944: European Theater"?
Actually the SU-152 and the ISU-152 have major hull (ISU using IS hull and SU using KV hull) , weapon differences and some shape differences , you can see these in games, wiki , google (lol) and some other WW2 tank sites. Still i wish you could add a special tank destroyer into this mod.. its the ISU-152 with the "Maus Killer" 152mm BL-10 gun , its penetration was huge and it would deal a large damage in the scales of CoH. You could add it as a special TD , costing like.. um.. maybe 10 - 12 points? And only available once in game. Just a suggestion thou .. :) Note : if the ISU is not good enough for a super russian TD you could add Object.704 as a super TD , search it on Google or World of Tanks site :)
Object 704 was never build in real ..
Actually it was and one is in Kubinka tank museum :P
can you get me a how to gouide to download this mod because i cant get it to work
1) You need any CoH to be patched up to 2.601.
2) Download and Install "European Theater: 1944 ver. 1.7 full auto-install".
3) Here is the tricky part, there is no shortcut for N44, yet.
4) Create a copy of your CoH Shortcut then right click on it and click on properties.
5) Find "Target" where it should say " "D:\Games\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" "(or where ever you installed it).
6) At the end of all that leave one space and type this :" -dev -nomovies -mod EuropeanTheater1944 "(with out the quotation marks)
7) Click on "Change Icon" and find the N44 Icon (it should be where you installed it).
8) Click "Apply" and then "OK"
So know you should have a shortcut that has in the "Target" :
"D:\Games\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -nomovies -mod EuropeanTheater1944
There you go hope it helps, if not send me a message :)
well it doesnt say target since i dont have english programme but i found were it should be but i cant change it and it only says company of heroes and nothing else in grey letters
do you have to have eastern fronts . mine isnt working :(
No you will not have to have EF with our v2.0
you sad all ef models would be added those this include the ostheer and will the soviet tanks have more skins if you can you could widen the treads on the t 34 because they are to thin and there is a big gap between zhe hull and the tread have a lock at it
thanks
We're having enough trouble getting the models we want in game, to worry about fixing models ;)
And we will (hopefully) add the Ostheer in the future, and at that time we may use their Ost models.
For now we have added quite few German models to the other 2 factions
How has that tank not just fell foward? What is the secret to Russian gravity defying tanks?
Typical russian Armor , but bigger is not better and also crew trainig and motivation are a big factor , German Troops shot down masses of russian Armor with minimal losses.
Thats because the Germans had Skillz :) + good guns as it is a fact that the Tiger II's 88mm Kwk L/71 gun could penetrate an IS-2 , from 2 kilometers (1,2427 Miles for those who dont use european scales.) Also if you look at the German armour of tanks , usually around 100mm and very slopy wich makes them almost invincible against smaller caliber guns :P
germans were very clever in making tanks specialy heavy they did steal the design of slope armor from russia only problem was german tanks were too complicated for their own good
holy mary mother of god
so ugly tank...
will be easy target for my flak 88 :))
nice forest you have there,
