This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.
I based this pikeman on a copy of a sadly now destroyed picture of a Polish pikeman at Vienna. Some historians believe this pikeman was recruited in Prussia, based on the possibility that the green facing colour was originally black (Black and Yellow were the colours of Prussia). West Prussia (formerly known as Royal Prussia) was part of Poland-Lithuania at the time.
