This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.

Description
While probably rare by this time, French pikemen with cuirasses were still present at this time. The Gardes Francaises still had thèm as late as 1696. In contrast, the Regiment du Roi dropped pikemen altogether around 1693, and was the first French regiment to do so.
