The "New Horizons" mod for the 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean game by Akella is a continuation of the famous Build mod series. Developed as Pirates of the Caribbean Build 14, "New Horizons" continues where Build 13 left off, adding more new content than ever before.

Here's a suggestion:
Use Ctrl+Arrow Keys to shift the camera focus to the other ships
You can use that to shake things up a bit on the camera angles and show the different ships firing and being hit up close.

That could work in a 5 minute video with lots of editing, but this was a spur of the moment thing with no planning or forethought involved. For instance I fired my cannons less than a second after thinking of it.

One could play the Sea Hawk storyline. At the end of it one gets the opportunity to capture the Black Pearl.
One could play the Hoist the colors storyline and acquire her there.
In most any storyline one could go to a well known place, meet with a well known person in the tavern, receive a well known item, and then sail to an island that can not be found except by those who already know where it is. There one may purchase the Black Pearl.

that island always seems to be locked as well as turks beach with the shipwreck. any ideas how to fix that?

Those places are locked because there is nothing else beyond them. Someone would have to create paths to the rest of the islands.
