We've moved the spots down to where they should be now. The normal bow chasers now do not fire, but that's a small price to pay, is it not?

He might not be able to make it lower. But yeah, it's supposed to come from those two symbols I put on the bottom of the bow.

If I don't attach the effect to the cannon locators, things will get really messy because then I have to calculate the emission point myself, which is too complicated because I'd really have to compensate for roll and pitch angle in addition to all the things I did for the steamship particle effects.

The better alternative would be to remove the bow chasers from the ship altogether and move the cannon locators down to where the Greek Fire is supposed to come from. Since that is close to the water and the "cannons" still have to fire "cannonballs", that would greatly influence the maximum range of the bow chasers. Which may actually be a reasonable price to pay, considering I don't think that Greek Fire would in fact have much range.
