Ion beam being charged up by the satellite.
Nice, but does this cannon stay hanged up in the sky in some special maps? Or it just appears when used..?
Basically this weapon is a bit more advanced than that (aka more annoying to use lol).
If you check the other (older) screenshots of the Ionizer, you will see that you actually deploy a rocket with the satellite in it.
The rocket is launched up to the sky and the satellite is put up there.
From there the satellite will remain as long as it's not destroyed by the enemy, and will move to the necessary positions to attack considering the exact spot you painted with it.
It reminds me of the graviton. :)
