Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics
Feb 20, 2012 Full Version 18 comments"Morrowind Sounds and Graphics Overhaul" contains mods that will alter and enhance the visual graphics and the sounds of the game. The aim of this project...
The mods included in this package were NOT created by KingPix. The credits list that you can find here includes every single modder who made this possible! I also want to thank the Morrowind modding community for the huge work they did in those past 8 (almost 9!) years. I have personally contacted mod authors and received approval to use their mods in this package. I was unable to contact some mod authors, and have done my best to abide by their wishes as specified in their mod's readmes.
MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY:
Please tell me as soon as possible if there are issues like "oh no, you didn't credited [modder_name's_here]!" or "no, you can't include my mod in this package." If you do not want your content in this package, let me know, and I will remove it right away.

Brilliant Mod, It rekindled my love for Morrowind. I spent 10 hours playing it yesterday after downloading the mod. Morrowind was one of my favorite games of all time, and with the new graphics, its worth just going to places you've once visited just to see how they look now. The world seems more alive.

Hi people, I've been having some problems with the graphics overhaul. When I first installed it, I put all the settings to max and when I entered the game, the frame rate outside was anywhere from 10-28 fps. Obviously, that's not very good. I turned some of the powerful settings (such as draw distance) down and when I got back into the game, I received the same results. As an experiment, I turned my settings from very fast PC down to slow PC. Same fps as before. Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening with me? I'll include my graphics card and processor if that helps: GeForce GTX 650, AMD Phenom II X4 810. Thank you for any help.
You are most likely hitting the VRAM limit of your graphics card. Download a program called GPU-Z and set it to always on top mode. Then while the game is loaded, look at the sensors tab and see what is going on.

i wanted to let you know something i discovered
if you have dual resolutions enabled on your computer, you will get a black screen on start up. the solution to this is going to control panel and changing the display to only one monitor.
thanks for your cool mod.
Yeah cool etc... but why MGSO installer stop his work at MorrowindLauncher Process?
Is my 16:10 TFT the problem?
I would still love some help with the post I made on Des 24
i install it fine but when i go to start a new game it crashes
Uh, a few doors to some cave dwellings in Gnisis are broken for me. Instead of "teleporting" me to the interior, the doors simply rotate on the spot and show the hill behind them. Anyone have a fix for this glitch? I can't find one on Google.
Brilliant mod - has rekindled my interest in MW after several years.
I have Steam GOTY copy. Disabled UAC for install and play. Running with MW Rebirth 2.11 - no probs if you follow MGSO install instructions (most user-friendly and professional installer I've ever encountered) and carefully read Trancemaster's FAQ for MW Rebirth:

Can be a bit demanding performance-wise. I have an OK PC (I5 3570K, GTX670, 8GB DDR3 1600, 1440x900res) and, on the 'very fast' setting for MGSO with distant land defaults, no DOF but SSAO, I get 45-60+FPS in the countryside, 25-40+FPS in towns (in the teens at times in Balmora). However, I am running MW Rebirth with MGSO and, so far, after 16+ hours of play all seems well (although the game does tend to crash and hang when I exit).
Does look beautiful though with the distant land, god rays, etc... Always liked MWs more fantastical and exotic settings compared with Oblivion and Skyrim - both of which I have also played to death, but MW is something else. Especially with these upgrades!
